The Nanny cast set to reunite in an epic zoom video call

The flashy girl from Flushing is back!

All your 90s sitcoms dreams have come true, first we were blessed with the knowledge that Friends is returning to screens - and now The Nanny cast is reuniting!

It's not exactly a reboot of the original comedy, but some of your favourite characters (well the atcors who play them) are coming together for a live table read via Zoom video.

Taking to Instagram, Fran Drescher confirmed she and her original castmates would partake in an virtual read of the pilot episode - which she hashtagged "PandemicPerformance" amid the world-wide coronavirus lockdown - in a bid to lift the spirits of fans across the globe.

The Zoom video will be posted on the Sony Pictures YouTube page the morning of Monday, April 6.
