It’s harvest time in Tuscany and the family head off to the nearby region of Sorana where the bean crop is a local delicacy. Sarah and the kids help out with the harvest and she investigates the possibility of growing the beans on their own farm. Meanwhile Richard heads off to check out a new house that has come on the market. After persuading the owner to let him feature it on his property website he joins the family for a traditional bean feast to celebrate the harvest.
Later an English couple arrive on the hunt for a Tuscan retreat. He’s a crime writer and Richard shows him a haunted house in an attempt to make a sale. The writer is not impressed. Fortunately Richard remembers the new house he’d just found, shows the writer round and ends up getting an instant offer.
All of this plus the usual mix of stunning scenery, sunshine, and Richard and Sarah’s unique point of view on living the dream life in Italy.
