Society tells us we should wait until we are older to start a family. Get a career, enjoy life and travel the world. Yet increasingly teenagers are falling pregnant and many make an informed decision to keep their baby. In doing so, these young parents are frowned upon and made to feel like a statistic.

Lisa is 14 years old and pregnant. Her secret was that she desperately wanted this baby. In fact she’d wanted one for years. Her boyfriend Jack, only 17, was incredibly shocked when he found out she was having his baby but is standing by her. For all of their optimism the fact is they have no money and live in a small room in an over crowded house, Jack has no qualifications and Lisa is too young to work. In order for them to survive, he must go out and work. Jack has to grow up and fast.
Ross is 16 and likes hanging out on the street with his mates. He’s been in trouble with the police and never got on with school. Jess went off the rails when she was 12. She often skipped school and started using drugs. Jess admits that she could be dead by now and Ross admits that he could be in prison. But at 15 Jess became pregnant and it changed their lives completely. The young couple are still battling with the sacrifices they have to make. Ross still wants to go out with his mates, but Jess hates being left alone with the baby. Can Ross become a good dad and is motherhood everything that Jess dreamed it would be?
