after looking at current prices up there a realistic price would be more like $500k... and thats only for the large block.

Sorry about the duplication here guys, didn't think my original post worked and don't think I can remove it: (

Jac I agree with you but as Stan said in the original post here, there would be a lot of folk out there that are genuine sellers and much more deserving, AS for being ripped Sandy as long as your company was sporting logos I've noticed the film crew always give coverage to businesses and people that donate equipment/materials etc and considering how many viewers there would be that's damned good advertising!

True Jac but as Stan said in the original post there would be a lot of folk out there that are genuine sellers and much more deserving. As for getting ripped Sandy, I guess as long as your company sported lots of logos I've noticed the camera crew will always give coverage to businesses that donate equipment/materials etc and when you consider how many people watch the show it's damned good advertising!

The company I work for donated over $15k worth of product towards this renovation, were they 'ripped'?

true Del but did you see the unrealistic price of $895k I would have believed Jack to be a genuine seller if he'd put his original asking price of $750k plus the $70k he injected for the completion but $895k...seriously? You don't think he feels obliged to keep it on the market for appearances sake? Jack doesn't even have to go through with a sale even if someone comes to the party which is highly unlikely in a climate the agent from Century 21 said is the worst he's seen in 23 years.

Stan I just sent a post to Shayna as I couldn't post it to Andrew for some reason and below are my comments which I believe are in Synch with your's :-
I just finished watching the episode of Jack at Port Douglas and maybe I'm way off the mark however I felt that Jack had no intention of selling that property he just wanted cheap labour to finish his project and keep it for an investment, If I'm wrong I'll stand corrected if not I feel angry that beautiful people like yourself, Andrew and Charlie are being used for nothing short of selfishness and greed Kind Regards Lyn
