Selling Houses Australia

Episode Guide

GOLD COAST

Series 1 · Episode 5

Craig and Gary are desperate to sell their Highland Park home on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Gary’s eyesight is failing, so they need to downsize to a cheaper property - and fast. They have found the perfect country house and snapped it up, but now settlement date is looming and their Gold Coast palace still hasn’t sold. There is one thing that could be turning buyers off – the colour! There are yellow walls, yellow floors, yellow ceilings; even the front façade is yellow! Buyers feel like they are wading through a giant vat of custard and if the house doesn’t get a makeover, Craig and Gary will face financial ruin.

I thought that you made this house look so fantastic. I love this show and I find it very educational for someone like me who is thinking of trying property development for themselves. I wish Craig and Garry all the best in the future an hope their plans work out as they deserve it.

Great house to start with giving an easy place to start.
The reno was very well done with an excellent result, giving the property the charm it deserved.
Very nice down to earth owners ,very gratefull for the changes.Happy they sold so they can have a nice simple life. That is what it should all be about.
Sometimes we complicate our lives too much ,these owners realised this and the team got them where they had to go.Congratulations to all.
