Selling Houses Australia

Episode Guide

Brought to you by

SOUTH GRANVILLE

Series 1 · Episode 4

Seven years on the market and just one offer - this has to be a record! Daphne and her husband Abby can’t understand why their three bedroom home in Sydney’s western suburbs isn’t selling. The house is as neat as a pin, but after 16 years of living there you could say Daphne has “settled in”. Every conceivable surface is adorned with her collection of trinkets and Daphne loves each and every one. If she has any chance of selling she must get rid of her collectables and paint out the awful dark wood panelling. But this is one determined lady, and Daphne’s not giving in to change without a fight!

I have just watched this episode as a re run, the agent is the problem not the vendor. I hope he has left the industry........ Embarrassing to watch if your a professional agent.

Daphne needs Trinny and Suzannah more than the house needs Andrew! I hope the British viewers don't think we all dress like Daphne, and please lovie, do your hair.

It appears as though Daphne really didn't want to sell because she over priced her house. It looked great after the de-cluttering.

Great cleanup Andrew.Unfortunately another seller who isn't prepared to face the fact that their house hasn't sold because it looks BAD. They seem to forget the whole purpose is to get buyers to like the house not their own personal taste. And the way Daphne kept giving everyone the evil eye was ridiculous.I can't understand why some of these sellers applied to have their houses on this show if they weren't prepared to listen. Hope Andrew doesn't think all Australians are like some of these people.
