Many people would have you believe that men are from Mars and women are from Venus. According to popular mythology girls are graced with emotional intelligence and boys understand logic and mechanics. While typical male and female behaviours do occur in our everyday lives, countless studies have shown neither gender has a better aptitude for any one cognitive task. So are the differences between men and women hard-wired from birth, stemming from our brains' cognition, or are they learned behaviours?
