In today's episode paramedics try to help an 81-year-old woman with dementia - but must earn her trust before she will let them in, an 89-year-old has fallen and has pain in her leg and a Polish man suffering from agonising abdominal pain needs his daughter's help to talk to paramedics. In the cab crewmates chat about accents, fear of sharks, whales and dolphins, and tell terrible jokes. Crewmates Naomi Whatley and Kyle Matty are called to treat 81-year-old Joyce who has dementia and diabetes. But Joyce is refusing to let the district nurse or her carer in to help her, so it's up to Naomi and Kyle to win her over. Meanwhile paramedics Hannah Meredith and Aaron Campbell are sent to 45-year-old Michal who is experiencing acute stomach pain. Michal and his wife don't speak much English, so their daughter Sara acts as translator. To complicate things, Michal has a history of medical problems including diabetes, high blood pressure and a slipped disc.
