About the Show

About the Show

Seven years ago, stand-up comedian Bennett Arron, was in serious debt. He owed thousands of pounds to mobile phone companies, catalogues and department stores. Only it wasn’t him. Bennett is one of the 100,000 people affected by ID theft – one of the fastest growing crimes. This special is Bennett’s humorous, personal account of how having your identity stolen can ruin your life. He’s realised that the only way anyone will listen to his plight is if he tries to steal someone else’s identity. Follow Bennett as he carries out stunts to steal the identity of a man who has the same name as his childhood hero, Peter Parker AKA Spiderman, and finally successfully stealing the identity of the politician ultimately accountable for ID Fraud, the Home Secretary, Charles Clarke.
