Gogglebox welcomes three new families! Here’s what you need to know

Make some room! Three new families are joining the couch.

The Gogglebox couch for Season 11 is expanding as we welcome three brand new families to the series!

After saying goodbye to Adam and Symon and the Jackson family, there are some new people bringing us even more emotional moments and hilarious antics than before.

Joining Season 11 on Wednesday, February 26 at 7.30pm on Foxtel’s LifeStyle are Queensland surfer mates, Milo and Nic, Sydney-based family, The Elias' and two student neighbours from Bondi, Chantel and Kaday.

Each of them will bring a new and exciting element to the couch, but don’t worry, we will still get to see plenty of the Goggleboxers you know and love.

Before we all sit down together in a few weeks, let us introduce you to the new Goggleboxers:

Milo and Nic

Two surfer mates from Queensland join the couch this season bringing bromance and hilarious banter to Season 11. Milo, 35 and Nic, 31 met while working in the same surf shop as kids, and now live as roommates who love indulging in reality shows and aren't afraid to laugh at themselves, or each other.

Here's what you need to know about the two mates:

The most annoying habits while watching TV: We have none...

Worst agument about TV: We only argue about whose turn it is to wash up during the ads.

Most surprising TV shows watched: For two grown men, we watch way too many trashy, dating and reality TV.

Best surfer: Milo is a shredder, and Nic is a kook.

Messiest housemate: We're both slobs.

The Elias family

Welcome to the new family on the Goggleblock, with three kids and an equally noisy home!

Parents, Les, 46 and Danielle, 47 may rule the roost but they sometimes struggle to get a word in with their eldest son Jacob, 14, daughter Lily Rose, 12 and youngest daughter Ivy, 9. The Elias' are joining Season 11 of Gogglebox bringing more hilarious and outrageous moments to our screeens.

Here's the low-down:

The most opinionated: Jacob!

The most annoying habits while watching TV: Jacob constantly eats his fingernails and dad can fall asleep fast.

TV house rules: Lights down and absolutely no phones during movies.

Most surprising TV shows watched: We couldn’t believe it when Dad watched Origin of Oriental Pottery and when Jacob watched Keeping up with the Kardashians!

Our favourite shows: Jacob - Black Mirror, Ivy - Tom and Jerry, Lily-Rose - The Good Place, Les - Seinfeld and Danielle - Vampire Diaries.

Kaday and Chantel

They're the two neighbours turned best friends from Bondi who love a night in watching TV together. Who doesn't? 23-year-old Kaday, a nurse and 23-year-old Chantel, a youth ambassador met while hanging up their washing at the clothesline, and the rest is history!

Both speak multiple languages, and these girlswill have plenty to say!

Here's a bit more about them:

Loudest person: Chantel is the loudest, however, Kaday does the most talking.

Most annoying habits: Kaday, as she always has to ask questions and talk while we are trying to concentrate. Sometimes she will even ask a question right after they finished explaining it on TV.

TV house rules: No matter who is with us, we have to always be sitting together, even if it’s on a single chair.

Most surprising TV shows watched: Kaday watches Spongebob Squarepants as if it’s her first time watching it, even though she has seen every episode multiple times.

Worst quality about each other: Kaday – Chantel’s volume control. She will laugh and scream in your ear, even when she is in a very public place. Chantel – Kaday is always sniffling and will sometimes sneeze on me.

The new season of Gogglebox Australia starts on Wednesday 26 February 7.30pm. In the meantime, catch up on every episode On Demand.
