Matty and Sarah Marie say they treat their bulldog as their first son, but when does it get too much?
It's been known that some pet owners treat their furry friends better than they treat themselves, and it seems Bane the bulldog is lapping up all the extra care and attention he can get - while he can.
With the first Fahd baby due to arrive in November, Matty, Sarah Marie and Jad reveal the bulldog is living a pretty relaxed life.
"Bane gets so much love at the moment," Matty reveals. "Me and Sarah treat him like our son. I kiss him goodnight, I grab him by his face, we cuddle. He’s just loved so much, that dog," says Matty.
"Before I got Bane, I used to see people kissing their dogs on the face and I’d be like, ‘Aw man, that’s a dog!' Yet now, I grab Bane’s face and I kiss him straight on the lips, because he’s mine," Matty reveals.
And while Sarah Marie and Matty chase after Bane's attention, not everyone is as interested.
"I need to find something that stops this guy from humping me," says Jad, Bane's favourite person in the house. "I’m sick of using wet wipes to clean my jeans! I can’t wear jeans or shoes anymore. He pooed in my Gucci’s the other day!"
And like every parent, Sarah Marie and Matty only see their furry son as the perfect angel.
"As you can tell, Jad’s not exactly a dog person," says Sarah. "Bless his cotton socks."
