Gogglebox extra – What you didn’t see this week on TV: 'You can tell who's compensating'

Milo and Nic discuss the hidden language of cup size.

Does size really matter? In Queensland, Milo and Nic discuss this age-old question while enjoying a beverage from two very different-sized mugs.

"Look at our cup sizes," Nic comments. "You can tell who's compensating."

"Indeed," Milo states, before taking a long sip from his very tall mug. "Big cup, big rig. Small cup, small rig," he adds, gesturing to his friend.

But not letting his pride go, Nic dryly responds: "Not what I've heard."

Moving on from this profound discussion, Kaday and Chantel are also unsure of the 'right way' to drink champagne. We can already advise them that it's not from wine glasses...

First, Kaday tells Chantel that holding the stem of the glass is the 'classy' way to hold it, before Chantel adds that they need to hold their pinkies out.

Kaday thinks they're getting closer when she points out that they need to tap the bottom of the glass onto the table before cheersing, but judging from Chantel's face, we don't think that's a thing.

Even Tim and Leanne aren't seeing eye to eye, as Leanne suggests something totally radical to her brother: "Have you considered the fact that drinking six cups of coffee a day could be contributing to your insomnia?"

But without hesitation, Tim says that the only reason he drinks six cups of coffee is because he has insomnia. Hmm, ok. We'll just leave that justification there.
