The Goggleboxers are left awe-struck when watching an action-packed animal showdown on David Attenborough's documentary.
David Attenborough continues to inspire and eductate people from all over the world with his fascinating documentaries on nature and wildlife. And this week, the Goggleboxers were part of that audience when they watched a series on mammals in Africa.
But before meeting the animal in question, Adam sends out a request to the universe when he repeats, "Don't be a bug, don't be a bug, don't be a bug," - which isn't a mammal, but anyway - is still disappointed when he meets the small marsupial. "It's a sh**** small animal," he sighs.
However, everyone else is thrilled to see the sengi and is in awe of its furry and dainty, aardvark-like nose.
After trying to see if they can move their nose like the sengi, (they can't) they watch the marsupial speed down paths - with Isabelle making a controversial likening to Emmie. "Looks like you when you've got the runs."
And they soon discover that the sengi is speeding over rocks and jumping through crevasses at lightening pace to escape a goanna.
"This is parkour animal-style," Symon details. "It's like Highway Patrol," Jad adds.
Even Anastasia sits forward in her chair and watches the fast-paced action, saying, "It's jungle olympics!"
The goanna soars over a rock in slow-motion, leaving rock debris flying in the air. "This is awesome!" Symon laughs.
Eventually, the sengi outruns and outwits its enemy by diverting into a bush, to be safe with her young baby.
Now with a steady close up, Adam closely inspects the mammal and offers a new scientific name. "It looks like a bilby crossed with a kangaroo. A bilbaroo." Nailed it!
