This week, the Goggleboxers deliberate the delicacies of etiquette.
Is it rude to leave the bathroom door open? Or is it perfectly acceptable in your own home? For some, it's completely reasonable to live as you like in your own home, but not everyone thinks so.
This week, the Goggleboxers brought up their grievances with their TV companions, with varying results.
It's about the angles
Over at Adam's apartment, Symon is feeling less than equal due to the angle of the TV only facing Adam's direction.
While Adam retaliates saying, "I'm facing it to the seat that I'm sitting in because it's my house," Symon points out that it's about being a polite host.
"I don't care where it faces if I'm not here," Symon adds, "but if you know I'm going to be here - make the necessary adjustments. I don't ask for much!"
To close or not to close?
At the Silbery's, the women are talking about a matter that hits close to home - as Kerry and her mother, Emmie live in the same house and share the same space.
With the women around her, Emmie begins to tell Isabelle that she can't believe Kerry asked her to close the toilet door, plus the living room door when she goes to do her business.
"I could hear everything," Kerry says flatly.
And even Isabebelle agrees that Emmie should close the door, the matriarch isn't convinced - asking what's wrong with hearing someone go to the loo if you also go to public bathrooms?
"You don't have a fit if you can hear the woman next door having a pee!," she snaps. "Do you get upset and go out and say, 'I heard you doing that, that's offended me!'"
But practical Kerry defends her logic: "You don't have a choice. At home, you have a choice of closing the toilet door," she says through gritted teeth.
Whose side do you take?
