Gogglebox extra – What you didn’t see this week on TV: Nurse Nic comes to the rescue

Nic shows his bedside manner when attending to Milo's injured foot.

It can be scary when someone holds a large needle to you, but Nic had no time for fear on week five of Gogglebox

"See there? I think it's glass!" Milo says before groaning dramatically when Nic bends over to see underneath his foot.

"You've got a splinter, dude," Nic says bluntly. "Let me get a needle and I'll get it out."

The primary school teacher returns with a decent sized needle, joking to his anxious friend, "I'll get the green whistle."

But before Nic even touches the foot, Milo flinches saying, "Be gentle, bro! Honestly! Dude, honestly, don't."

Without touching the foot, Nic coldly says, "It is in deep. We're going to have to amputate," which at least gets a laugh from the 35-year-old.

But Milo wasn't the only Goggleboxer being a tad dramatic.

At the Fahd's, Sarah Marie touches her husband's sad face saying that it doesn't feel too hot, and she thinks he's alright.

Witnessing this, Jad can't cope. "I've never met a bloke that has more man flu than this guy here. Bro, it's hot! It's summer, we're inside! You haven't got a fever, you're just human! Calm down!"

But Matty still isn't convinced: "Feel my head," he murmurs to Sarah Marie - as Jad rolls his eyes.
