Every evening in Australia, more than four million of us choose to spend a night in front of the telly. Have you ever wondered what other people are watching and how they're reacting to the shows you're loving or hating?
Each week we will bring you the best bits of each episode, from thought provoking Goggleboxer insights to the hilarious reactions we all love.
Anastasia has just come back from a week in Sydney and recaps a pivotal discovery to Faye. "You know, there's more to Sydney than the CBD," she reveals. Faye isn't too surprised, replying, "Well, I gather that." But Anastasia has more to uncover to her friend. "You know how we live in suburbs, I didn't know they had suburbs like us there." Baffled, Faye responds with a sigh and one line: "Your poor parents."
There's a shift in dynamic on Married at First Sight when a couple declares their profound happiness with each other, but the Goggleboxers can't share in their joy for too long. "How un-entertaining is it when they actually just like each other," says Matty. Symon too is disappointed in the happy outcome. "Don't be bringing that to MAFS. It's not what I'm here for." Adam agrees, saying, "Here for the hate."
The Goggleboxers spoke too soon, as a contestant reveals her long-winded affair with a fellow married cast member- in front of everyone (and the country). The Goggleboxers are feeling mixed emotions of relief, anger, shock and entertainment as they question whether her request of staying in the experiment with her new beau will be granted. "Surely the experts aren't going to let them to that," says Symon. "But I mean, this is television." Correct.
Eyes and puds
Next up is new baking series, Paul Hollywood's Pies and Puds - but some Goggleboxers have a bit of trouble pronouncing the last three letter word. "Paul Hollywood's Pies and Puhds?" Jad questions looking confused. But something else soon catches the Goggleboxers' attention.
"Ooh, he's a cutie!" exclaims Anastasia. Emmie has also noticed ol' blue eyes. "He's a good-looking bloke," she says. The rest of the Goggleboxers follow in a series of "ohhhs" and "mmms" until Kerry cuts in: "He's going to do something really sexy in a minute." And just like that, the baker flashes his crystal blue eyes leaving Isabelle in shivers. "I'm going to have to get the hose for you!" laughs Kerry.
A contestant from My Kitchen Rules is making a meat roll dish, which she shapes exactly to the style of her quiff. Adam cannot pass on this opportunity to comment, as he says, "Do you think she was inspired to make this dish by her hair?" Good one.
