Every evening in Australia, more than four million of us choose to spend a night in front of the telly. Have you ever wondered what other people are watching and how they're reacting to the shows you're loving or hating?
Each week we will bring you the best bits of each episode, from thought provoking Goggleboxer insights to the hilarious reactions we all love.
Game of relations
The long awaited eigth and final season of Game of Thrones has finally come, but for some, the hype is lost. "So it's like Jurassic Park?" Jad asks Matty and Sarah-Marie. No, Jad. Jon Snow is having his first ride on a dragon and soars into the skies. While the power of this scene resonates around the world, Patrick offers his take on the situation: "It looks like a Qantas take-off." Ok, not what we were going for but that's alright.
Next, Jon and Danerys (his aunty, which he doesn't know about yet) stand in front of a waterfall and lean in for a kiss. "It's a medieval The Bold and the Beautiful!" Anastasia says. The Goggleboxers watch on, confused by the romance. "It's weird watching them now, knowing they're related," says Sarah-Marie. But at the Silbery's, that bit isn't important. "I want them to have s** again," Isabelle says. Jury's out on that.
When nature calls
The Goggleboxers watch David Attenborough's docuseries, Our Planet. As the humanitarian's distinctic voice is heard, Anastasia shares some insights: "If you want anyone talking about this sort of stuff, you want David to be talking about it." But just as that thought passes, another arrives: "Do you reckon I could do it with my distinctive voice?", she questions Faye.
But just as Anastasia begins to narrate the current footage of flamingos, she stops to clarify her subject: "Are they flamingo?" Faye slowly turns to her, and after a brief silence, replies, "Of course they're f*****g flaimgoe! My god, there's no way you could do it." Probably best to just leave it to David.
Shaking the tail feather
Next on Our Planet is small colourful bird with a fiery red head, dancing up and down a branch in an attempt to catch the eye of a female. The bird is almost jittering, as it moves its body with such energy and focus. "Look! The boy's dancing to impress her!" Kerry Silbery says with a laugh. But even if the female bird doesn't catch on, he's got an impressed audience with Isabelle. "Wow. I need to be a bird. It's so much better than Tinder," she says.
Island of opportunity
For a change of scenery, the Goggleboxers watch Bachelor in Paradise where apparently, most of the contestants from The Bachelor and MAFS have turned up. The ceremony is underway and Richie Strahan picks out a girl's name, causing one to faint and another to storm off. While the drama is just too perfectly-timed, Wendel provides some of his best commentary: "Where's she going? It's an island."
