We can always rely on Matty, Sarah-Marie and Jad to tell us something we never knew before.
Now, we list some of their finest moments where they shared their best pearls of wisdom with us.
Matty's musical revelation
Aretha Franklin is singing the house down in the movie Blues Brothers with her iconic booty-shaker classic, "Think". While Jad and Sarah-Marie are jigging along to it, Matty lets us in on the true secrets to soul music. “Soul music’s about two things. Voice, and your ability to do s**t with your hands while you’re singing.”
Jad's take on politics
On Sco-Mo’s appointment, a Sky News presenter points out that her five-year-old daughter has witnessed a new prime minister in every year of her life. If Jad was feeling awkward about his dating history, the weight has now been lifted. “Five in five years. Jeez, that’s worse than my relationships.”
It's about the brows
The three are watching a family cooking show when a contestant’s obscurely shaped brows ignite a discussion. Sarah-Marie compliments Jad on his perfectly shaped pair, which he casually agrees with. “I naturally have good eyebrows”, he says.
Matty and Jad continue to claim that the only maintenance required is a quick plucking of the monobrow area, prompting Sarah-Marie to declare it is, in fact, a natural part of their Lebanese heritage. Jad supports this claim saying, “When you’re born, they give you a tweezer on your christening!”
Jad's lucky escape
Jad says that he once dated a vegan girl, but as a foodie, their interests were just too different. “She kept calling me, but I said I can’t picture my life like this.” It’s a tough world out there, Jad.
The bulldog is still at it
As the three watch a David Attenborough program, their very ‘active’ British bulldog interrupts the serenity. Matty begins his own narration in an attempt of the naturalist's iconic voice. “And here we have a British bulldog, humping his owner.” Someone give that dog a bone!
Matty saves the day
As Matty plays with the bulldog, Jad declares he wants another dog. “Do you know how many girls you’ll get when you walk down the street with it as a puppy?”, questions Matty. “That’s what I mean! What’s more attractive than a good-looking bloke like me with a really cute dog?” Matty quickly has the answer to this, leaving Jad with no comeback. “A good-looking guy like you, that is a bit more modest.”
