Is this just a cryptic coincidence or is there something bigger at play?
Gogglebox Australia's Matty Fahd shared an emotional post on social media when his son Malik turned ten months old on September 13, and it's stunned his fans.
Matty is married to Sarah Marie and the couple share the Gogglebox couch with their best friend Jad (plus, their dog Bane).
"10 of the best months with you today my son. Papa loves you," Matty began as he celebrated another milestone with his followers.
While the sweet photo of Malik showed the little boy smiling from ear to ear, it was Matty's mysterious revelation that really touched a nerve.
"The number 13 which is obviously known as an infamously haunted number has always been such a positive number in my life, randomly popping up everywhere," he explained.
"Here are just some of the milestone occasions that I remember where the number 13 appears; I wore the number 13 jersey when I played soccer, I added Sarah on Facebook on the 13th of September 2013, Bane was born on the 13th of November 2017 and Malik was born on the 13th of November 2019."
He also mentioned his father - and Malik's grandfather - George, migrated to Australia "on the 13th of November 1953."
Call it a cryptic coincidence, but Matty finished off his post with a cheeky one-liner.
"I don’t know what it means but I know what number im going to play next time I play roulette."
Gogglebox fans were quick to voice their amazement at his news.
"Crazy that Bane and Malik have the same birthday!" said one.
"That's given me goosebumps," said another.
Matty's wife Sarah Marie also shared a sweet snap of her son, writing: "I can’t believe you are already 10 months old today. I love you more and more each day my little Malik."
"Each day we wake up you do something new and it amazes me. You always keep me on my toes," she added.
Although baby Malik happens to be the youngest family member on the show - he very cheekily made quite a name for himself among die-hard Gogglebox fans in Season 11.
In fact, Matty has said he and Sarah often receive kind messages from viewers who appreciate seeing baby Malik's smiling face, particularly Melbourne residents experiencing the strict Stage 4 lockdown.
"I know i've said it before, but from a Melburnian to you, your Malik's little face truly does get me through so [many] bad days!" one fan wrote to Matty.
"Here in Melbourne is tough, your lil man just makes us smile... [He's] just perfection, thank you for sharing and making us smile," another added.
