For The Love Of Dogs

About the Show

About the Show

Battersea is the world’s oldest dogs home and every resident has a heart-breaking history of neglect and abandonment, but the caring staff at Battersea is dedicated to helping every homeless hound. From rescue, to healing and finding a new home, for almost every sad story there is a happy ending to be found.
With unprecedented behind the scenes access to this famous institution, For the Love of Dogs shows how sick and abused dogs are brought back to health and given a new, happier life. Comedian and dog-lover Paul O’Grady brings his affectionate, funny presenting style to a show which explores every aspect of the remarkable, emotional and unbreakable bond between man and dog.

By the way, even though it is the best laugh all week does not mean I laugh at the state those precious animals arrive in. Its just Paul and his antics. I could willingly murder people who abuse any animal. They do not deserve to live .Thanks, I did not wish to be misunderstood in my comment.

absolutely love for the love of dogs and Paul and all the staff and the animals. Battersea has been there all my life, I am an expat from London now living in Sydney, and it is so nice to see that they are still there doing an amazing job. My original home was Peckham but then moved out to Surrey before coming here, so I know Battersea Dogs and Cats Home well. Keep up the good work guys, its the best laugh of the week and I watch ALL THE REPEATS. Have just seen Paul in Africa, Oh My!!!!! By the way, the lady with the red hair in the picture, please let Paul get out with one more dog or maybe a cat!!!! My Aunt has just rescued a dog from the home in Kent, but I don't know much about that home. He is a lovely dog and has gone to a home where he will be loved and cared for and Paul would approve.
