The Embarrassing Illnesses clinic is open for business to tackle the medical problems that people would rather ignore than take to a doctor. Nothing is too shameful or shocking, as this series explores the conditions and ailments that leave many of us a little red-faced, and aims to de-stigmatise common complaints. Three doctors – Dawn Harper, Christian Jessen and Pixie McKenna – throw open the doors of the clinic in a bid to tackle each condition head-on, while attempting to take away the sting of shame. The four hour-long programs are dedicated to bodies, breasts, vaginas and penises, covering a range of different conditions.
