The world’s most prestigious flower show opened its doors for five days in May in the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea.
The Chelsea Flower Show is the ultimate event in the gardening year. It sets the latest gardening trends, features the newest and most desirable gardening products and creates an explosion of colours and scents. Once again you can enjoy and relive all the horticultural splendour with this one-hour special.
Leading plants-woman and BBC TV presenter Carol Klein takes us on a journey through the highlights of this year’s dazzling designs and planting ideas in the show gardens, the small gardens and the Great Pavilions’ floral exhibits. Top designers on show this year include Jinny Blom, Andy Sturgeon, Diarmuid Gavin, Chris Beardshaw and Australia’s Jamie Durie. While in the Great Pavilion international exhibitors come from countries as far away as Sweden, Barbados, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. Although the Chelsea Flower Show lasts just five days, this special combines the best of all the colour, the designs and planting, ensuring the memories will last a lifetime.
