Madeleine has enjoyed a long career in acting, comedy, directing and writing. She's best known for her work on hit Kiwi film, The Breaker Upperers and was 'squealing with excitement' when she scored the hosting gig alongside fellow actress, Hayley Sproull.
She's described hosting Bake Off as her "dream job", and is so excited at the prospect of throwing the judges off track with fellow-host, Madeleine. Hayley is also a big supporter of women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and lists 'food television' as one of her guilty pleasures.
Dean Brettschneider is the ultimate baker and patissier. He owns a cooking school and two artisan bakeries in Auckland and Shanghai, and has also penned 10 best-selling cookbooks. He's got technical skills and a creative flair like no other - and promises to inspire us all with his baking challenges this series.
With a keen eye for detail and a huge passion for nurturing the bakers in the tent, Sue Fleischl is firm but very fair. She yearned to be a chef since she was a teen and got a job at London's Savoy Hotel when she was just 17-years-old. Known as the "queen of catering", Sue values presentation and quality above all else.
