Celebrity Come Dine with Me Australia

Episode Guide

Episode 2

Series 5 · Episode 2

What happens when you take four competitive celebrities, opinionated Australian fashion designer, Peter Morrissey, witty broadcaster Gretel Killeen, fashion writer and daughter of racing royalty Kate Waterhouse & a celebrity landscape designer Charlie Albone and they each  host a dinner party? Mayhem!

Our first night sees Selling Houses Australia celebrity landscaper, Charlie Albone host his dinner party in the country where he lives with his wife and baby, along with sheep, chooks & an abundant veggie garden.  Dressed for a stylish dinner party the others had no idea they would soon be collecting their own eggs for Charlie's Zucchini Flower batter!   Charlie hates loud opinionated people...and he had a table full to deal with not to mention a vegetarian who hates eating ugly food.  This debonair Englishman tries to charm his way through one cooking disaster to the next.

Fashion writer Kate Waterhouse's first ever dinner party is inspired by her wedding destination to Australian Rugby league legend Luke Ricketson.  Kate’s fancy home has everything, including a room for just for her shoes and a pasta maker she picked up at Milan Fashion Week!  As you would expect from one of the most stylish people in the business, Kate pulled off her Italian menu with style, much to the dismay of Gretel Killeen as she is forced to come to terms that the youngest celebrity is proving to be the most accomplished dinner host.

Broadcaster and former Big Brother host Gretel Killeen’s night was next up, and it was a first for Come Dine With Me Australia as the other guests were forced to help cook their own meal almost creating a guest mutiny ... and to make matters worse the crab meat for the pasta was off!

Legendary Australian Peter Morrissey talked up his night all week, so the others were looking forward to a fabulous evening.  Peter also spent the week, name dropping - big time! Regaling the others with his stories about everyone from Princess Diana to Naomi Campbell and as they snooped around they found photos of Peter with major A list celebrities all around his home.   However when it came to the food, the only thing Peter contributed to his entree was the naked picture of himself he served the shop bought sashimi on.  Adding insult to injury the fish for his main was cold and the potatoes were raw.  To top off the evening his dessert was straight from a Pavlova Magic packet just like his Mum used to make.
