About the Show

Aussie Christmas Lights is a one hour LifeStyle Channel special which captures the way Christmas lights up suburban front yards across Australia. Christmas in Australia means balmy nights and coloured lights, with children up and down nature strips and families doing slow drive-bys, taking in all of the magic of local light displays. This special follows six Australian households from different states across five intense weeks, as they assemble and erect their colossal Christmas tributes. We’ll follow everything from the unpacking and building of each display in intimate detail, culminating in the big switch-on.

Hi, we have a great light display at our home in Beaumaris, we need to hire a cherry picker to erect it, 8m Christmas tree, roof display, Santas's car, moving animals, and the best light display ever. CEO by day, Grizwold by night!

Thank god for being able to record it. I will be too busy out the front of my yard with my chrsitmas lights to watch. Can i suggest my street for the next series? By the way a true christmas lights display takes longer than 5 weeks to set up, assemble and finally be ready for the first nights lights. 13 days to go....I'd better get back out there.
