About the Show

September is the busiest month for bridal sales and to capitalize on this, Amsale's Madison Avenue salon in Manhattan is having a trunk show. Debbye, the store manager, decides she is going to offer a cash incentive to the sales consultant who sells the most dresses during the weekend. The girls are excited about the opportunity for extra cash, however, the loser will have to do the dreaded dish duty for the salon. Emily, the star sales consultant is recently back from her two-week honeymoon and is facing a major sales slump. She really wants to make a sale but her first client of the weekend is an extremely high maintenance New York bride. Even when Emily finds the bride a dress she loves, the maid of honor dismisses it as not the one. Emily does everything she can to find the dress that will make the bride feel like a princess but this appointment is not what Emily expected. Meanwhile Lauren, the newest bridal consultant, is approaching her first birthday in New York and misses her family and friends back home in Texas. While trying on new wedding dresses after hours, Lauren confides in Kori, the salon concierge, that she's not sure about her move to New York. As the weekend continues so does Emily's slump, while Linda and Lauren continue to make sales. Emily worries that not being able to sell a dress is starting to affect her attitude and her ability to sell. Emily is determined to turn things around with her next bride. But before her next bride begins trying on dresses, the bride's mom asks if she can break out the alcohol she has in her bag. Determined to stay positive and make the sale Emily finally breaks her slump and makes a sale. She's back in the competition and with a day left it's a race to the end. Later that night the numbers are in and Debbye announces the winner. Then the girls decide to go out and celebrate by taking Lauren to a western bar to go bull riding. As they have a good time, Lauren finally feels at home, she love
