4. They are often mistaken as a couple

They may spend A LOT of time together, filming and travelling for their various series the last 20 odd years, but no – they are certainly not an item.  Both parties are happily married with children of their own and remain close friends, which is documented on both of their social media accounts. Cheekily, Phil Spencer’s bio reads, “Husband, Dad, TV Presenter and the man that puts up with Kirstie Allsopp.”

Phil and his Australian wife Fiona met in 1995 at the Ministry of Sound nightclub in London. After dating for six years, they married and decided to give the sunny life a go and spent six months in Australia to see how life would be. However, soon after Phil was commissioned a series with Kirstie Allsopp as the production company noticed their chemistry in the screen test. They moved back to England, had two children and the rest is history!

7. Phil founded his first company in his twenties

Shortly after his studies in property surveying, Phil noticed the stressful ordeal his friends were going through when trying to find properties.
