Young writer Sam (Justin Long He’s Just Not That Into You) has a crush on Birdie (Evan Rachel Wood The Wrestler), the cute and quirky barista at his local coffee shop. When his conventional attempts to woo her crash and burn, he takes his efforts online, creating an internet profile embellished with all the details that would make him Birdie’s dream guy: ballroom dancing, rock climbing, a seemingly endless escalating series of wacky and unlikely hobbies. When the harebrained scheme is a surprise success and Birdie falls for his exaggerated alter ego, Sam must keep up the act or lose his dream girl forever.
A quirky little movie, quite relevant to the times we live in. It was easy to watch, perfectly enjoyable if not a little predictable as are most romantic comedys. There was nothing to dislike about the movie it didn't require a great deal of concentration, a good time waster on a lazy night in.
The movie had an excellent plot line with actors that fulfilled the storyline perfectly. However a bit boring at times it is an inspiring warm your heart movie
I was quite interested to watch this movie. It was not what I expected though. A bit slow moving for my liking, and a bit of a soppy romance/love story with some comedy thrown in. Better than I thought
Personally I didn't love this movie. There was a lot of unnecessary swearing I felt. It wasn't a bad movie but it wasn't fantastic. It seemed a bit crude really. this movie just didn't seem to resemble real life at all and I feel that generally that is what draws an audience in if they can relate even just a little bit. this movie is not something that I would bother watching again. Ok for a one off but not continuous watching.
