About The Product

Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) stars as Napoleon Solo opposite Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as Illya Kuryakin in director Guy Ritchie’s action adventure The Man from U.N.C.L.E., a fresh take on the hugely popular 1960s television series.

Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. centres on CIA agent Solo and KGB agent Kuryakin.  Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organisation. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organisation. Together, they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide nuclear catastrophe.

Man From U.N.C.L.E also stars  Alicia Vikander,  Elizabeth Debicki and  Hugh Grant.

In the words of Guy Ritchie - I like the film, I like the energy it radiates..
A very entertaining, action packed, plot twisted, amusing and sometimes confusing ride.
Loved the 2 sexy spies and my only criticism is that their clothes should have come off at least once!

If you liked the TV series you will love the movie. Plenty of action with great stunts and effects without going over the top. I only knew one actor (Hugh Grant) before watching the movie, but the entire cast are great and judging by the ending there will be opportunities to reprise their roles.

I'm looking forward to the follow-ups, whether they be in the form of movies or a new TV series.

Do take the time to watch the Special Feature on the DVD.

While the plot was a little predictable, the characters were fun. I like Guy Ritchie's movies, and this one was good too. Not one of the most memorable movies I've ever seen, but enjoyable.

Interesting movie with a stylish cast. Loved the outfits, actors and the cars.
