I had a fabulous day at the Good food and wine show today. Thank you, because I probably would not have thought to attend this event, but will certainly make sure I do in the future.
It was jam packed full of fabulous stalls with lots of goodies to try. I thought the range available catered for a variety of tastes and ethnic groups. There was certainly something there for everyone, and something to learn.
The only negative for me was that it did become rather crowded and was difficult to get a look in at times. But hey, that just shows how popular this event is.
I came away thinking wow! I had a fabulous time and was loaded up with a gorgeous red coffee pod machine, luxurious flamless candles, spreadable fruits, spices etc. A great way to spend a day and see some new exciting products.
Fantastic day out. Plenty of different food & drink to try. Will be going next year. Highly recomend it.
We went on the Sunday and were really surprised at how many people attend this great event. We had a great time tasting free samples and chatting to various stall vendors. We spent quite a bit of time in the cheese section sampling and chatting away learning about cheese making. Really fascinating. There was lots of variety ,so that pretty much everyone should have been kept happy. It was a big day and plenty to experience here. We would like to go again, so thank you Lifestyle channel for these tickets.
What a great day I took my. Granddaughter with me we had lots of food and bought home lots of great things would love to go next year thank you so much
What a great way to catch up on the newest in food and wine.
Loved getting samples, catching up with the makers and growers and learning how to best utilise the products. This let you get to know the products before making any purchases. The range was amazing with everything from fresh goodies, to preserves and sweets. Something for everyone and some great unique products.
Even better was the live kitchen, a free event, despite being a bit squishy at times, it was great to see your favourite chef in action, my personal favourite Donna Hay was amazing.
Sadly I did not organise to do any of the VIP events which looked amazing. Oh well something for next time.
The show was fantastic and the idea is great but I wouldn't recommend it as it was too crowded and couldn't taste test to be able to buy anything. I only stayed for an hour or so as it was impossible to get into any classes, show and demonstrations.
