Aussie hotel launches first-ever floating cinema

Sure you've heard about open-air cinemas, but what about a pool cinema?

For the first time in Australia, W Brisbane is taking the idea of watching movies al fresco to a whole new level.

Now, movie buffs can grab an inflatable recliner and enjoy a film while lounging around in the hotel's pool.

W Brisbane's WET Deck will be transformed into a floating cinema for five weeks, screening classic flicks to match the pool theme - think Baywatch!

You can even order a cocktail from the poolside waiters and it will come to you delivered on a floating tray.

The floating cinema will kick off Tuesday 25 February at 7pm for a 7.30pm screening and priced at $25 per person.

Don't forget to bring or wear your swimmers as you can of course take a dip if you feel like it, too!
