Aussies may be flocking to the likes of London and New York, but perhaps they should head to Vienna instead.
Vienna has topped the list of the most liveable cities in the world, according to a new Quality of Living Survey.
The Austrian capital ranked the highest in factors like education, socioeconomic conditions, health, environment and safety.
Not only is Vienna great for its citizens, the opulent city is easy on the eye and serves as home to grand palaces, green parks, inspiring concert halls and a fascinating political and artistic history.
The highest ranking Australian city was Sydney, which came in at number 10. Melbourne fell not far behind at 15.
As for the worst places to live: Baghdad, Iraq fell at the bottom of the list of 230 cities.
