If you've been looking for a bit of a sea change, you may consider joining Australia's growing rank of expats, and seek a new life overseas.
A new list developed by HSBC ranks the best countries to live in for foreigners, according to a survey of expats themselves.
The list considers the best places in terms of wages and work opportunities, as well as the country's healthcare, culture, social qualities and opportunities to raise a family.
Topping the list was Singapore, which was by far the strongest country economically.
Meanwhile, foreigners living and working in Australia are also having a fair go, ranking us as the 7th best country for expats.

1. Singapore
2. New Zealand
3. Sweden
4. Bahrain
