The latest innovation in luxury travel: the Instagram butler

Hunting down the best holiday snaps has never been so easy.

One exclusive Maldives resort is stepping up its service to guests who live to share their holidays on Instagram.

The Conrad Maldives Rangali Island recently announced its own #InstaTrail: a tour of the region's most picturesque locations complete with its own 'Instagram Butler'.

The Instagram Butler will guide guests around the grounds - including visits to traditional Maldivian swings and the world's first underwater restaurant, Ithaa - and advise them on the best time of day and locations for the very best photographs.

The best part is that the service is free to hotel guests.

"Our team members are often asked to take photos for guests around the resort that we felt by introducing this service officially, as an option for guests was a natural fit," Marketing and Communications Director, Kimberley Roberts explained.

"Guests have an opportunity to engage with our team and be taken around the resort where they can find hidden nooks that are not so obvious."

Recognising the modern traveller's desire to showcase every adventure on social media, Conrad Maldives even offers to pair guests with a yoga class and instructor who will guide them through the most photogenic poses.

Cooking classes, star-gazing and island-hopping tours have also been devised with keen photographers in mind as part of the resort's separate 'Stay Inspired' tour program.

If there was ever any doubt your trip to the Maldives would inspire envy in all of your friends, now you can count on it.
