Not sold on cruising? This revolutionary vessel has the potential to change your mind.
Richard Branson recently arrived on Aussie shores to launch an incredible cruise experience like nothing you've ever experienced.
Dubbed the 'anti-cruise' cruise ship, Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Lady is set to turn the industry on its head and attract a whole new demographic of travellers.
For starters, there's a strict, adults-only policy, which means there is plenty of space for the over 18's to let their hair down, as well a sleek design that looks more like a yacht than a typical ship.
There will also be an on-board tattoo parlour, should you want to commemorate your time aboard with a permanent reminder, as well as plenty of champagne flowing in a designated lounge, for whenever you desire a glass.
The Scarlet Lady has more than 20 restaurants with varying cuisines, 1300 regular cabins - and 78 'Rock Star' suites, for those really wanting to push the boat out (Pardon the pun!).
Sir Richard said: "I’m immensely proud of this new brand; in building it we took the time to think through every detail and craft a unique experience that brings to life Virgin and disrupts the travel industry. I can’t wait to hear what Aussies think of our new endeavour.”
The ship is set to depart from Miami, and the various routes include other states in the US, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. You can even book 'tail to sail' packages, which have Virgin flights from the east coast of Australia included.
