The Aussie hotel offering a digital detox

If you feel like you're having too much screen time, this hotel will help you switch off.

QT Hotels across Australia and New Zealand will be encouraging guests to switch off by offering some pretty tempting rewards.

Running from now until October 2020, the Power Down package gives people the chance to really turn off by taking participating guest's phones from 7pm - 7am, so they can unplug and enjoy a whole host of minful extras. Indulge in a complimentary wellness bowl, juice, or some wine and cheese at the bar.

There are four different wellness bowls to choose from that you can enjoy in the comfort of your room. The menu includes a choice of a Sea and Omega Bowl with sushi rice, grilled miso-glazed salmon, pickled ginger, edamame, crispy shallots, avocado, toasted sesame, wakame-coriander-mint salad, wasabi ponzu dressing and togarashi seasoning; Essential Clean Tummy Greens Bowl with broccoli, edamame, zucchini noodles, romesco cauliflower, spinach, avocado, cashews, organic ginger, black sesame seeds and orange dressing; or a Ferment And Nourish Bowl with black wild rice, smoked hummus, cumin-spiced cauliflower & pumpkin, white pickled sauerkraut, fresh pomegranate, vegan falafel, mint and sumac.

Once you're feeling nourished, there's some in-room wellness goodies to help you get through your digital-free night. There's a Beauty Chef powder to aid gut health, Addition Studio's Bath Brew tea bag for a soak in the bath, a Luv Sum protein ball in case you get peckish and a Lululemon yoga mat.

Since it might be tough going to give up your phone overnight, guests will also have access to a QT Wellness Guru who you can call on to help your journey.

If anything would tempt us to give up our device for a night, this would have to be it.
