The best breakfast spots in Sydney

Heading out for a great breakfast is what all good weekends are made of.

If you're looking for a new local haunt or simply want to explore the city if you're on holiday, Sydney has an abundance of delicious (and very photogenic) places to head for a top notch breakfast.

Here are our favourites:

Parlour Cucina, QT, CBD

Every Sunday from 8am - 2pm you can take your Nonna out to Parlour Cucina at QT for a free breakfast. Yep, that's right, she can enjoy anything from a Berodier Melt, Panini Di Patate, to Donuts Bombolini, on the house. What better excuse to pop out for a delicious breakfast?

Sokyo, The Star, Pyrmont

This Japanese restaurant offers up a real treat for breakfast. We recommend trying the Japanese Mushroom Omurice - a stuffed omelette with a Yuzu miso dressing. Yes, Sokyo serves up breakfast with a delicious twist.

Fratelli Fresh, Darling Harbour

While Fratelli Fresh may be known for their pasta and pizza, their breakfasts are something to experience as well. With menu items starting at $5 and coffee coming from local supplier Mecca, it's a great way to start the day.

El Camino Cantina, The Rocks and Manly

For a great brunch option, El Camino Cantina is your spot. From $19 you can sample three tacos or a breakfast burrito, a 15oz rita and a 300ml tap beer or cider.

Three Williams, Redfern

Currently offering their special truffle-focused menu, Three Willams has some mouth-watering options such as mushroom scrambled eggs topped off with fresh truffle and French toast with a dusting of truffle.

Archie Bear Mosman Rowers, Mosman

Located at the water's edge and surrounded by yachts, Archie Bear at Mosman Rowers offers a stellar view and a classic menu.

Acre Eatery, Camperdown

Acre Eatery's produce farm sits right next to the restaurant - so you know every ingredient is legitimately fresh. Tuck into a tasty bruschetta or classic Sicilian breakfast from the new breakfast menu as part of Acre Eatery’s 6-week Italian takeover, available from 1 July until mid-August.

The Botanica, Vaucluse

Featuring beautiful pink interiors accented with green foliage, this spot is great for capturing the perfect brekky insta shot. The Botanica also has a farm-to-fork philosophy and we recommend the Sweetcorn, Polenta and Quinoa Fritters, King Salmon, Dill, Poached Eggs, Corn and Turmeric Relish - yum!

The Winery, Surry Hills

Settle in for a long brunch with The Winery's bottomless bellinis. Every Friday and Saturday from 12pm, you can indulge in a variety of small dishes and options of either peach, raspberry or lychee bellinis.

Untied, Barangaroo

If you're after something a bit fancy, try Untied's rooftop that offers two sittings (11am or 12pm) for a six-course brunch menu complete with a special cocktail and wine list.
