A slice of Singapore culture is coming to Sydney

A taste of Singapore is coming to the shores of Sydney!

Sydneysiders will soon get a taste of Singaporean culture right here in Australia.

The Singapore: Inside Out festival will showcase works by leading contemporary creative talents from the city-state's thriving food and arts scenes.

Taking place from November 3 to 5 2017, it will highlight a side to Singapore most people don't get to see while visiting the popular stopover destination.

Visitors can expect culinary and cocktail showcases, as well as installations featuring visual and performing arts, photography, design and music.

Singapore: Inside Out takes place at various locations along Kensington Street, including the Old Clare Hotel, within the Chippendale Creative Precinct.

The theme is Movement, which reflects both the creative process of the artists and Singapore’s multi-cultural society.

There'll be collaborations by twenty Singaporean and Australian creative talents, as well as partner events involving dining, live music and more.

Randy Chan, one of Singapore's leading young architects, serves as creative director.

Singapore: Inside Out is currently showcasing in Tokyo, after starting in Beijing, London and New York in 2015 as part of Singapore’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
