1. Turin, Italy
Located in Piazza Castello, this spectacular tree 43,000 LED lamps and 25,000 micro lights.
2. Prague, Czech Republic
Not only is the gothic city of Prague a beautiful (albeit, cold!) Christmas destination, it's Christmas tree in Wenceslas Square is said to be one of the biggest in the world. It measures in around 22 metres.
3. St Pancras Station, London, England
This is one for the kids - or the big kids at heart! This novelty Christmas tree is covered entirely in Disney toys. From Mickey Mouse, to Olaf the Snowman from Frozen - the whole gang is there.
4. Melbourne, Australia
Speaking of toy-themed trees, the biggst LEGO Christmas tree in the world has found a home in Melbourne's Federation Square. Naturally, it comes complete with a LEGO surfing Santa.
5. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
This sparkling gem is the biggest floating Christmas tree in all the lands. That's right, it lives on water. It's 53 metres tall and weighs 350 tonnes.
6. Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England
This creative installation is the work of Indian designers Sahil and Sarthak. In Indian mythology, the 'Kalpataru' tree grants wishes. While it may not technically be a Christmas tree, it is on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London over the holiday season, from November 10 to January 6.
7. Rockefeller Centre, New York, USA
This may be one of the most widely-recognised Christmas trees in the world, having featured prominently in blockbuster films, like Home Alone 2. The tree tends to be around 34 metres tall, but perhaps more impressive is the size of the Swarovski star on top, which is nearly three metres (!) in diameter.
