1. $345,000 diamond encrusted heels

As one half of the world's most powerful couple, Beyonce went all out on her latest pair of designer heels. The singer splashed a staggering $345,000 on a pair of stiletto heels from House of Borgezie. Woah!

Head designer Christopher Shellis created the pair especially for Queen B, which took over two months to make, and consists of more than 1,300 diamonds set into solid 18K gold.

2. Sonogram machine

He's known for pulling crazy stunts, but Tom Cruise surprised media and fans when he reportedly purchased a sonogram machine at a whopping $272,408 while ex-wife Katie Holmes was pregnant with their daughter Suri.

3. Range Rover.....wait......for dogs!

If you follow Miley Cyrus on Instagram, it will come as no shock to hear of how much she adores her pet dogs. But this time, the Wrecking Ball singer, went a tad bit further, and purchased them their own Range Rover!

4. Your own waterfall

Wanting to pamper her architect-junkie husband Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie bought her partner a waterfall for an undisclosed amount, for his 48th birthday.

5. Michael Jackson memorabilia

Lady Gaga went a bit er.....gaga when she spared no expense in buying memorabilia from the late icon. Out of the 55 pieces purchased, the two stand-outs were Michael's Bad tour jacket at $326,889 and a pair of his crystal encrusted gloves for more than $136,204.

Jay-Z went and bought himself a horse, but this is no ordinary horse! California Chrome as it's known is the recipient of the 2014 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. The racehorse cost Mr Shawn Carter a reported $US55 million.
