Girl power has been rife throughout Hollywood this year and we could not be happier.
While Taylor Swift and her "squad" dominated tabloids for much of 2015, other female friendships have inspired us to go get our BFF and give them a big, fat hug.
We can't wait to see more from these powerful pals in 2016.
Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer
These are two of the biggest stars in the world right now. So, when we found out the pair had started hanging out - we immediately wanted in on their friendship.
The duo's mutual love and respect was confirmed when they announced they would co-write and star in a film together.
Last week, it was revealed both Amy and Jen are up for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes, while their respective movies, Trainwreck and Joy, will go head-to-head for Best Film in the same genre.
Amy took to Instagram to congratulate her lady love, while J-Law joked that the two will wear matching outfits on the red carpet.
We sincerely hope this happens.
Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon
While the film failed to please cinema-goers, the pair's friendship won a few hearts.
Together, they posted photo after photo on Instagram showing them laughing and making mischief all over the country.
The pair became such fast friends that Reese attended Sofia's wedding to Joe Manganiello earlier this month.
Taylor Swift and Blake Lively
The two traipsed around Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, like long-legged, golden-haired queens.
Blake later went one further by making (or at least ordering) a special thanksgiving-birthday cake for her new bestie, who celebrated her birthday on December 13.
Serena Williams and Sheryl Sandberg
The pair reportedly met for lunch after Serena posted on Twitter that she wanted to have lunch with the Lean In author and Facebook Chief Operating Officer.
According to the Sports Illustrated article published after Serena won its 2015 Sportsperson of the Year Award, the tennis star became Sheryl's rock after her husband, Dave Goldberg, passed away suddenly earlier this year.
“I just kept getting these messages from Serena, every couple of days—for months,” Sheryl told Sports Illustrated. “Texts, messages, voice mails. She would write, ‘You have all my strength’ or ‘You are the strongest woman I know. You will get through this.’?”
Serena would reportedly go to Sheryl's house to hang out, and even helped put her kids to bed.
After Serena's award announcement, Sheryl took to Instagram to post this sweet message:
So excited to see @serenawilliams named @sportsillustrated Person of the Year. This is only the 3rd time in more than 60 years that the magazine has picked a woman for this award — and I can't think of anyone who deserves it more. Serena is not just a role model for women and men everywhere, but is a truly wonderful and supportive friend. In my darkest days over this past year, Serena reached out constantly and would always say, “my strength is with you” – and boy, that is a lot of strength! Congratulations, Serena — and thank you for being a true friend. http://www.si.com/sportsperson/2015/12/14/serena-williams-si-sportsperson-year
Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner
When Cara announced she would retire from modelling, it seemed the door was open for a new it-girl to assume the highly-fashionable throne. That girl was Kendall Jenner.
With so much in common - they both come from famous families, they've both walked the Victoria's Secret catwalk, and they share the same quirky, lovable sense of humour - it's not a surprise they are best friends.
This year, they cuddled in bed with puppies, dressed up as sharks, and went to Halloween parties as Mario and Luigi.
Like all great Hollywood pairings, their adorable friendship even earned them an adorable nickname. Introducing CaKe.
