Taylor Swift world's highest-earning music star

Taylor Swift is earning the big bucks! The singer has been named the world's highest-earning music star, after raking in more than $1 million a day.

According to The Express, the 25-year-old singer took in more than $1 million a day for the duration of 2015.

The paper suggests that Taylor raked in around $317.8 million since January, due to her number one hits, a hugely successful world tour, as well as lucrative endorsement deals.

The former country singer turned pop star released her fifth studio album 1989 in October 2014, where it sold 1.287 million in its first week and debuted at number one across the globe.

The singer's 1989 world tour saw Taylor perform 85 shows across North America, Asia, Europe and Oceania.

"Right now, Taylor is untouchable. She is so far ahead of everyone else in the industry that she has become not only a powerhouse entertainer but also an important mover and shaker on the commercial side on the music business," an LA-based media analyst told The Express.

Adding to her stellar earnings are three fragrances in collaboration with Elizabeth Arden, Diet Coke and Ked's Footwear.

Prestigious magazine Forbes listed Taylor as number eight in the Celebrity 100 Rich List and number 64 in the Powerful Women list. The publication also predicted that she will hit billionaire status by her 30th birthday.

Taylor and her producer beau, Calvin Harris, 31, look set to become the most powerful couple in Hollywood. The couple who first stepped out together in May topped Forbes ranking of highest paid pairings, with a combined net worth of $146 million.

This tops Beyonce and Jay-Z's combined earnings of $110.5 million in 2014.
