She may be dominating the charts with her latest album 1989, but the pop star thinks it may be time to take a break from the spotlight.
Her 1989 World Tour featured a tonne of celeb cameos and was the talk of the town, however Taylor, 25, has no plans to top her latest album.
Speaking to NME Magazine, the pop star revealed that it might be time to take a break from the spotlight and go on vacation. "I think I should take some time off," Taylor shared. "I think people might need a break from me. I'm going to....I don't know. Hang out with my friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don't know."
While she's loving the success she's been having, even Taylor admits there can be a negative side to fame. "I'm in the news every single day for multiple different reasons," she told the publication. "And it can feel, at times, if you let your anxiety get the better of you, like everybody's waiting for you to really mess up - and then you'll be done."
Taylor may have a girl squad with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, however she insists she's surrounded by people that keep her grounded. "A lot of the time I need to call my mum and talk for a really long time, just to remind myself of all the things that are great and all the things that matter. If you do something that defines your character to be not what the public thought you were, that's the biggest risk."
