New reports claim Hiddleswift has come to an end after an intense few months of summer love.
Despite trying to hold back jokes about how "Swiftly" things blew up in the paparazzi-lit faces of Taylor Swift, 26, and Tom Hiddleston, 35, we're still sad to see the end of their romance.
They were the surprise couple of the year, living in each other's pockets for a few highly entertaining months.
Following rumours of a break-up, a source finally confirmed to PEOPLE the pair ended their three-month relationship but it "remains amicable."
Meanwhile, the reason for their split is being hotly debated in some rather questionable tabloids.
While one source told Radar that Tom ended things after feeling like he was being "treated like a glorified escort", another told The Sun Taylor called it quits after Tom wanted them to be more public.
"Tom wants their relationship to be public, even asking Taylor to go to the Emmys with him, but Taylor wants to keep her private life private," the source said. "Tom’s need for their relationship to be so public so quickly makes her uncomfortable."
The couple were first spotted together on June 15 this year, when they were snapped snogging on the beach in Rhode Island.
However, it's possible things started to crumble after that villainous Kim Kardashian threatened Taylor's good-girl image after publicly revealing the popstar lied about important details in her ongoing feud with Kanye West.
After Taylor left her man's side in Australia, it didn't take fans long to notice the absence of their new favourite couple from the tabloid rags they'd saturated for weeks prior.
Now, it's finally confirmed, we've seen the end of the (very short) era of Hiddleswift.
