SHOP FOR: The key here is to show off only the lower half of your legs. Loose fitting trousers can be quite slimming as are stripe designs.

Also keep a heap of long, silky scarves for final touch.

Avoid: Definite no-no’s include double breasted coats, mini skirts, box pleats, trousers with stiff fabric, and the comfy (but never flattering!) hoodie and jeans.
