In a new and utterly horrifying twist in Kesha's sexual assault case, the pop star claims Sony said they would let her go from the label if she said she made up her rape allegations.
"I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie," Kesha wrote in an Instagram post. "I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors."
Earlier this year, Kesha was denied her legal bid to stop working with her accused rapist, Dr Luke.
Her peers, fans and anyone with a sense of moral justice rallied to #FreeKesha from being legally bound to the man she says assaulted her.
While Kesha's troubles are far from over, this new revelation has opened an ever darker chapter in the tragic saga.
"I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again," she wrote today.
Kesha has filed an appeal to the court hearing, and hopes the decision to force her to work with Dr Luke will be overturned.
