Sex And The City 2 Book

We usually try to reserve our “OMGs!” for special occasions and this is definitely one of those!

Headline has produced the most gorgeous coffee table book to accompany the release of the biggest chick flick this year – Sex And The City 2.

The official companion features behind-the-scenes details as well as interviews with the stars, producers, cast and crew, and celebrity cameos such as Miley Cyrus, Liza Minelli and Penelope Cruz.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Michael King Patrick also write introductions.

The book also features exclusive photos of the outfits worn by the four stars (see below) along with info about the designer.

Sarah Jessica Parker has 48 costume changes in 'Sex and the City 2'. The actress - who reprises her role as glamorous journalist Carrie Bradshaw in the movie sequel - admits she changed outfits so many times, more than 10 were lost to the cutting room floor.

She said: "I think I have about 48. We started off with 60 and I think scenes were cut and scenes didn't make it. So I think between scenes being cut prior to shooting and us not being able to find a good enough reason to change clothes on camera, which is what I would do if they would let me, I think we end up in high 40s."

Despite showcasing many designer creations in the film, the actress' favourite piece she wore was a petticoat.

She told US TV show 'Access Hollywood': "My favourite is when Carrie runs into Aidan in the Souk and I'm wearing an old vintage J'Adore Dior T-shirt and the underpinnings of a Zac Posen dress. Not the dress itself, but rather the petticoat and a pair of Manolos that were made for the movie."

The book is $49.99 and is available June 1, 2010, at all good book stores.
