See 70 years of Dior fashion in under 30 seconds

Over the past 70 years, Dior has profoundly changed the way women dress.

From the structured, sophisticated styles designed by the legend himself, to the feminist focused pieces by the brand's first female creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, the house of Dior is an empire that has had arguably the biggest impact on the fashion world.

Being the first to capitalise on cosmetics and perfumes, Christian Dior understood that while only some could afford his couture clothes, many could afford to own a little piece of luxury through his perfume or lipstick lines.

This year marks 70 years of Dior, with the documentary Inside Dior, airing on Lifestlye YOU, offering a sneak peek into the luxurious world of those who wear the brand and what it takes to continue such a legacy.

A task which has been handed down through the influential hands of Yves Saint-Laurent, Marc Bohan and John Galliano, and now sits with Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Over the years the brand has attracted a strong following from celebrities across the world, including royals Princess Grace of Monaco, Princess Margaret and Princess Diana, as well as movie stars Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Lauren, Elizabeth Taylor, Charlize Theron and Natalie Portman.

Here, we take a look at the fashion evolution of Dior and the famous faces who wore the designs.

Don't miss Inside Dior, 6 June at 9:30pm on YOU.
