Sarah Jessica Parker’s new bridal collection: Here’s everything you need to know

Designed for the modern, unconventional bride, the neat 10-piece collection is very Carrie Bradshaw.

Following the reveal of her line of bridal shoes back in 2014, and in 2016 a little black dress with a tiered tulle skirt inspired by the Sex and the City opening credits,  Sarah Jessica Parker has created her first ever bridal gown collection in collaboration with American online store, Gilt.

While Carrie wore an outrageous Vivienne Westwood gown when she almost married John James " Mr Big" Preston at the New York City Public Library, the two-piece cream skirt suit she wore to City Hall in the end, was far more simple and refined. And this what you can expect from SJP's bridal wear.

The collection includes 10 dresses, which have been designed to cover key wedding moments from the shower, to the wedding breakfast, the reception, and even the bachelorette party.

Matched to 15 exclusive SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker pumps and sandals, the series includes a sleeveless halter jumpsuit, a belted maxi dress, bodysuit with a bow, a beaded lace wrap skirt, and a cream gown with a feathered trim.

Colours are muted and soft – as well as traditional white; there is pale pink, light grey, cherry red, sky blue, and elegant black. The collection was produced in SJP's native New York, and features fabrics like cashmere and stretch crepe sourced from Spain, Italy and France.

With prices ranging from approximately $388 to $3,150, it'll surely sell out. See it all here
