Sydney’s newest and most boutique market day, the Reservoir Bazaar, is providing a new place for savvu shoppers to nab a stylish bargain.
With a focus on quality over quantity, the Reservoir Bazaar features handmade, salvaged, vintage and antique goods.
“We wanted to make use of the Winery laneway in a way that complemented the community and the businesses surrounding. There is a wonderful atmosphere that you find at markets all over the world, and that’s what we’ve created here.” Says Winery director Paul Schulte.
Like everything at The Winery, the Reservoir Bazaar is quirky, fun and eclectic. Visitors can expect to find goods from Peru and Japan, lights, fittings and home wares, wood framed sunglasses (the first of their kind for sale in Australia), first edition novels, mint condition comics and pulp fiction dating back to the 1920’s and much more.
Local artisans and collectors are represented, and are invited to contact market organisers for more information about becoming a stallholder.
The Reservoir Bazaar will operate every Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm in the Winery laneway, 285A Crown Street, Surry Hills.
